I am a Core Process
Psychotherapist based in South Manchester.
Core Process Psychotherapy can be
helpful in addressing a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety,
panic attacks, stress, relationship difficulties, low self-confidence, low
self-esteem, addictions, shame, issues of identity, or even if you're
unsure of how things are going in your life but have an underlying feeling
that you or something is not OK.
Core Process Psychotherapy is a
contemplative psychotherapy based on Buddhist psychology - however, it is
not necessary for clients either to be Buddhist or to hold any religious
beliefs.
I am accredited by the United
Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). The UKCP exists to promote and
maintain the profession of psychotherapy and the highest standards in the
practice of psychotherapy throughout the United Kingdom, for the benefit
of the public.
Sessions are of an hour's
duration once a week. Prior to commencing work together we would have an
initial meeting to consider the issues you wish to bring to psychotherapy
and to review in person any questions you might have about the work.
I have included a brief overview
of my psychotherapy practice on this Welcome page; however, fuller details
are available on the other pages - please feel free to browse.
To discuss any aspect of Core
Process Psychotherapy, or to arrange an initial meeting, please call me on 07825 398 588.
Alternatively you can email me on
ken@therapymanchester.co.uk. I look forward to hearing from you.
